Hi readers,
Today the King and Queen of the Netherlands were in my hometown. It was so nice to see how many people actually came to see them! I had to work, but fortunally we had an amazing view as you can see on some pictures.
Later this day I coloured my hair for the first time:) It's a little more blond, but not exacly like I wanted it to be. But afterall I will just have to get used to it I guess and otherwise I'll colour it again;)...pictures will be posted later, because now it looks awful because of the hairdryer and the wind haha

Cocktails, work and friends

Hi dear readers,
Yesterday evening I went out with friends from my work at Sacha shoes. We had a table full of good food and lots of cocktails.
Because there was a soccermatch earlier that evening there also were lots of happy supporters.
At some point we were so stuffed with food, but there was still much left...so what to do with the leftovers? Well, we gave it to the outrages and extreme happy soccer supporters and got free cocktails in return! Unfortunally I didn't spot any nice vintage outfits or other kinds of vintage inspiration to make pictures of, so I just took some of the food and drinks we had:)

Today there is the weekly fabric market here where I live. Because I have a day off I decided to go shopping! Next week I'm going to start a sewingclass...something I have wanted to for such a long time!

Amsterdam

Hi Vintage fans,

Yesterday I went to Amsterdam with a friend. She is a model and I help her shopping and styling sometimes! She also had a casting at Tommy Hilfiger and I had the privilige to go with her! It was so amazing to see...clothes everywhere! Blouses, shorts, dresses, lots of hawai prints and the shoes<3 I could have spend the whole day just there, but Amsterdam has so much more to offer!
Personally I love to just walk around and look at other peoples style and walk into some stores from time to time. So much inspiration everywhere around me makes me happy:)

Rabbit with a mood!

Hello!
A few weeks ago I bought this rabbit. It has a moodlight inside...so cute! The light changes ever second...so cool! I know it's kind of weird but everytime I look at it, it makes me smile;)
The store where I bought it was Tiger. You can buy lots of cute stuff, like teacups, napkins with mustaces, wallets etc. They aslo have a site, just check it out for cute and cheap things:)

These shoes are a serious addiction I'm afraid haha...don't you love docs?
Besides that there is not much going on these days. Right now I am enjoying my lunchbreak at a bench next to a man singing and playing his guitar...feels like summer to me;)

Today the sun is shining, so I thought if I have to wear a jeans to work, than atleast let it be a floral one. So I opend my huge closet and this one came out! I bought it at H&M the other day! Lovely print don't you think?

Hello Everyone,

Tomorrow it's Queensday here in Holland! It's a day full parties, markets, decorated bikes and lots of orange! But tommorow's Queensday is special, because our lovely queen Beatrix abdicates, and so we will get a King! It is going to be the last queensday for years, because from next year on it will, ofcourse, be Kingsday!
Unfortunally I have to work, so not that much fun for me:(

The bench and us!

A few days ago we went to the Efteling! We both love this park and it's wood of fairytales. That's where we took this picture together:)That vintage bench we are sitting on is an item I would love to have at home...so cute. Every time when I go to the Efteling I have to take a picture at that bench:) Sometimes I look at those pictures and I always remember the happy and no stress feeling that that place gives me.
Do you have any nice places you love to go once in a while, like me and that bench by the castel of the sleeping beauty?

What a day!

Hi Fauve et Elizabeth readers,
What a day was it today! It was so crowded in the city, because there was a year market. Unfortunally I had to work and couldn't go shopping:( But lots of other people did and after that, they wanted a nice cup of coffee and a bagel! But luckly there was a nice sunshine;)
The sale at Fauve et Elizabeth marktplaats is going well...that means that we have to go shopping for you again soon!

It's Spring time!

The weather is finally sunny here in Holland! Ohh we love the nice spring sun, don't you?
Yesterday we put the new items online and it is already going like crazy! Most people(including us) love to shop for new spring/summer clothes when the first spring sun is out! Personally I have to say that I am wearing my floral skirts, blouses and dresses everyday now...I had to wait for to long haha!

Snow?

Yes everyone you have read it well, we are all again coverd in snow, here in Holland. Most people are not all to happy about this, because it already is March. Verder hebben we nog wat inkopen gedaan en het is dagen aftellen totdat de eerste spulletjes online staan. Dus blijf ons bezoeken:)

Eerste post! First post!

Dear readers,

Let's introduce ourselves...we are Yaël and Kicky and we own this blog: Fauve et Elizabeth. On this blog we will especially talk about vintage. On marktplaats.nl we sell vintage clothes, bags, shoes accesoires etc. We both really love this old style, but unfortunally it is very hard to find and if you go to an actual vintageshop most stuff is way to expensive. We thought this was a pitty, so we decided to do it differently. We want to make people happy with the amazing second hand stuff we find! So for little prices you can find the best vintage stuff at our 'webshop'.
On our blog you can find what's new, what we are doing here at Fauve et Elizabeth, but also nice stylingtips.
At the moment everything is still in making, but keep an eye on this blog, because very soon the firts items will be realeased here and you will be the first to know!

Even voorstellen...wij zijn Yaël en Kicky en wij beheren deze blog: Fauve et Elizabeth. Op deze blog gaat het voornamelijk over vintage. Via marktplaats verkopen wij vintage kleding, tassen, schoenen, accessoires etc. Wij houden beide enorm van deze stijl, maar helaas is het vaak niet goed te vinden en als je naar een echte vintage winkel gaat betaal je er enorm veel voor. Dit vonden wij erg jammer en kwamen daarom op het idee om het eens anders te doen. Wij willen graag mensen blij maken met de geweldige 2e hands vondsten die wij doen! Dus voor niet al te veel kun je bij ons de leukste vintage artikelen vinden!

Op onze blog kun je vinden what's new , wat er zoal gaande is bij Fauve et Elizabeth, maar ook leuke stylingtips. 

Op het moment is alles nog in making, maar houd deze blog goed in de gaten, want binnenkort zullen de eerste artikelen verschijnen en dan ben jij als eerste op de hoogte!
